Brian started working in the CPA industry in January 1997 after completing his Law Degree and passing the Bar exam in 1996. Brian graduated from the University of Colorado Business school in 1993 and obtained his CPA license in 1996. Brian practices in all areas of tax but in particular specializes in estate and trust tax planning, high net worth individual tax planning, business formation issues, professional services, real estate investors and developers, partnership, employee compensation issues, small business planning, sale and acquisition of businesses and other change in ownership issues.

A Boulder native, Brian enjoys golfing, but mainly spending time with his two children. He was the third generation in his family to attend Boulder High School.

Brian served on the Board and as President of Volunteer Connection of Boulder County, on the Board and a Treasurer of Boulder Preparatory High School, and on the Board of Directors of the Colorado Society of CPAs.
